The Innovation Bridge Foundation is born: a glocal bridge between people, companies and institutions

Innovation Bridge is a Foundation (ETS, Italy's nonprofit legal status) created with the mission of spreading technology culture across every field and industry, with a particular focus on the development of the province of Frosinone. The Foundation will be officially presented at a press conference on Wednesday, November 20 at 12:00 pm in the council hall of the City of Frosinone. Then on December 4, from 6:00 pm at Teatro Vittoria, the Foundation will hold its first official, inaugural event.

“Think globally, start locally” is the slogan guiding the organization's philosophy: starting local to create an impact that resonates globally. All the Foundation's supporters share the ambitious goal of turning the area into a new hub of excellence and innovation in Italy. The Innovation Bridge Foundation aims to promote technological innovation and digital entrepreneurship, with the ultimate goal of sparking positive change capable of unlocking the potential of the next generation of innovators. To do so, three fundamental phases have been defined:

• Creating a culture of innovation through outreach and cross-pollination in tech and AI, key tools supporting processes, products and services.
• Developing a new supply chain that embraces the cross-cutting skills spread across the area and prepares it to lead a global expansion.
• Attracting investors and venture capital interested in innovative, high-risk projects with potentially high returns.

As the President of the Innovation Bridge Foundation, Giancarlo De Leonardo, puts it: “We want to develop a dynamic, inclusive community where every player can collaborate and grow together, inspired by a culture of continuous innovation, to build a prosperous and sustainable future.” Through events and mentorship activities, the Foundation lays the groundwork for reaching these goals.

The events in Frosinone

On Wednesday, November 20, the Foundation's press conference will take place at 12:00 pm in the council hall of the City of Frosinone. On December 4, at Teatro Vittoria in Frosinone from 6:00 pm, the inaugural event will follow. Moderated by Barbara Carfagna, the evening will feature experts from the technology sector, including Marco Trombetti, Founder & CEO of Translated and Pi Campus; Paolo Traverso of Fondazione Bruno Kessler; Layla Pavone, Coordinator of the Technology Innovation and Digital Transformation Board of the City of Milan; and Massimo Chiriatti, Chief Technical & Innovation Officer at Lenovo.

The discussion will focus on the importance of integrating technological innovation and digitalization strategies into the business processes of local companies. The event is an opportunity to connect with experts and members of the Foundation's scientific committee, ready to support local businesses on their path to growth and digitalization.
