Honorary Members

Honorary members are bodies and institutions that, on a voluntary basis, make a significant cultural, scientific or institutional contribution to the Foundation's mission, recognised by the Assembly of Founding Members.

Pursuant to art. 9 of the Statute, the status of Honorary Member is conferred by the Assembly of Founding Members upon bodies that make a significant contribution to the Foundation's mission.

How it is obtained

The honorary status

Proposed by a founding member

The status is proposed by one or more Founding Members on the basis of scientific, cultural or institutional merit, or for significant contributions to the Foundation's mission.

Approved by the Assembly

Pursuant to art. 9 of the Statute, the status is conferred by the Assembly of Founding Members with a favourable vote of at least 75% of those present.

Active participation

Honorary Members participate in the General Assembly and may be invited to activities, scientific roundtables or thematic committees. The status carries no contributory obligations.
